I bought this dresser, two end tables and a chest of drawers at an auction but I can’t find any information on their age.

Beautiful set. If it helps, I think the words say Ward Furn Mfg Co 81-10-06 Stand. Possibly from Montgomery Ward?

Thank you Newfld. It does say that, but I have not been able to find what the numbers refer to? I’m pretty sure they relate to each piece in the set, but it’s the year it was manufactured that I am hoping to find out. Thanks so much for your help. :)

Ward Manufacturing Co. (NOT related to Montgomery Ward) is a Durham, NC company that was established in 1948 and according to online sites still in business today.

I would think that the numbers are a model number rather than a date.

I would also think that these are later in production due to the particle board and staples that are shown in your first photo.

Thanks to you too Scott. That was what I was thinking as well, but it was a guess. ;)
