A heavy cast iron French footwarmer enamelled in aqua blue, this item from the early 1900s. the name of the manufacturer: "Péchenard" this is a foundry that existed from 1866 to 1952 in northern France.
This would have been filled with coals or similar and used to warm carriages or other small spaces.
