    I found this at a antique store in Maine, USA. Store owner didn't know the history behind this and now I'm curious to learn more. Please feel free to share your idea or history knowledge with me! What I know from the internet so far is that it is dated mid 1800-1900 and that women wore it on their belt.

      Love the chain mail or chainmail, not used on jewellery much but a lot on purses of the early 20th century and particularly the art deco period. This looks Art Nouveau and probably early to mid 1920's. It definitely is after 1900.
