HippieArch…
(516 items)
Issued by residents of 10th Street (Peace 10 St) in Greenwich Village, New York City, against the Vietnam War. Just a small number was made for neighborhood distribution, circa 1968. A 1 1/2" celluloid button with no writing on curl. The Village is one of my hot button areas of my hippie era collection - which makes this local button such a treasure. The usage of an abstract RWB American Flag doesn't hurt either.
