Vintage shoe clips?

Lots of estate sales in my neighborhood this past weekend. Picked up these lovelies at one. I thought they were fur clips (proper term?) but they don't have the same type of prongs that I've seen on fur clips on-line (I have never seen one in reality.) Are these shoe clips? Help!
