I acquired this painting from a consignment store done by Seattle artist Leah Kosh titled "Birthday Meditation" in light that I'm turning 50 in a few months and it made me think about how we should always meditate upon each birthday in what we have done the past year and what we still have left to accomplish. I paid only $20 for it, but had to reframe it (damaged, old frame) for another $175. It was painted sometime during the 1980s based on her style compared to hers today and on the old frame (the framer said it was definitely an 80s frame in how they did it). It is acrylic paint on rice paper.
