    Does anyone know anything about this how old it is etc. Bought it at the guy said it was cherry wood but I have no idea. Thank you!

      The grain on the wood on the top board (above the stenciled name) and seen on the edge does look like cherry.

      Gustke &Son went out of business in the early 1960's .. so it is likely at least 60 years old .. if you ever want to sell it let me know .. they were also known as Gustke &Sons .. the Gustke &Son may better date the piece to the earlier 20th century, but I would need to research that .. is there a brand name inside the desk ? .. Richard Gustke (great grand son of founder)
