Boy, does this admission age me!
When I saw this heavy glass bottle and that distinctive black rubber cap, I had "flashbacks" to being a brand-new RN preparing sterile solutions to be used on hospital patients for wound irrigations!
The rubber cap was a palm-full and came off with a distinctive "pop" although it was not especially hard to get off. The containers were heavy thick clear glass since they had to hold up to the high temps of an autoclave.
When I saw the paper label with the former content's Expiration date in 1976, then I knew my memory was correct: that was my first year as a registered nurse!
It's special you have the bottles and lids together.
