Unknown origin of little rocker

Looking for info on this little chair. My mother told me this was grand mother's. They came from Scotland to Michigan around 1900. It's seat 13" high, 15" wide, total height 34". It has peg and post but also some hardware, unknown if that was used to fix at some point. Thank you in advance!
