Here is an old milk glass pin dish that measures about 4.5" x 4.75". I'm not sure what kind of flower this is supposed to be. Usually these pin dishes were cranked out by the thousands and it is fairly easy to find several similar dishes, but not this time. I don't think that I have ever seen this one before and can find no others like it. Has anyone else seen this one? Does anyone know who made it? The first image is the true color.

looks like a pansy blossom motif to me. I've come across similar by Pitman-Dreitzer but no exact match.

Thanks, TallCakes. I found it surprisingly difficult to find much information about Pitman-Dreitzer.

Would it be a hors d'oeuvres dish ? Neil

Thanks for the thought, Niel! I suppose it could be. Whoever last used it was apparently using it as an ash tray as it had ashes in the nooks and crannies when I found it.
