Ok, The first seahorse I acquired was the one with the red eye and the other with the turquoise eye came today. When I receive the first one and did some research, I thought I had a Hattie Carnegie seahorse brooch and found similar matches online. When I receive the other one today I noticed some subtle differences between the two, so now I’m wondering if one is real and one is fake. The clasps on the back are positioned differently And also the fins are slightly different. Did Hattie Carnegie make similar yet slightly different designs or is one a copy of a Carnegie design?
The other brooch is also new. Please let me know your thoughts and ideas thanks

I like the differentiation between them, I could go for a whole corral of these critters. The flower brooch uses some of my favourite Opaque Blue stones which in itself is a great find !~

Phil, yes, there are several variations of these seahorses with different colors. I would like to get some other colors if price was right. Glad you like them and blue brooch. Thanks

Eileen, I bought both of these in lots online and neither made any mention of Carnegie. I hope they are Carnegie, but if not, I paid very little for them and they are still pretty. I will have to check out the pink elephant and lion in the grass. I don’t believe I have seen these. I was hoping you would stop and shed some light on these, appreciate your info ;)
