19th Century Bohemian Glass Especially Harrach With UK & USA Glass Misattributions

It happened again yesterday, I came across an American pattern glass website, not sure how old, who were attributing a giant 19 inches high white frit with red snake epergne centerpiece as mid 19th century American, the experts on Facebook, declared it was an error. Which was evident to me as it was a familiar Harrach decor, and exported to US to finally be used in a state Governor's household.

As art glass collectors, no matter which kind and where it was produced, it's good to keep a wider knowledge base, as you might discover more accidental glass misattributions, in your own collection and reference material. Not something that is pleasant sometimes, but the truth should be welcome and shared.
