This is a nice little Victorian glass salt, in predominantly pink glass with narrow stripes of yellow & blue, overlaid with applied random trailing in white. It has an applied rigaree in clear glass, with a clear raspberry prunt on the base.
There is some loss to the rigaree but I can live with it to own such a charming piece at a bargain price.
Most likely English origin...possibly by Stuart, Webb, or Richardsons, etc. It would have had a silver plate stand, & perhaps I'll even find one some day.
Ripper ! Looks like a washed-up jelly fish.
Lovely piece!
Thanks so much, Bambus1920!
Thanks also, Mrstyndall!
Sweet and sugary. If it was a lolly it would make my dentist cry!
Many thanks, racer! I heartily agree, it's a delicious treat!
