The post mark on this one is 1908 but barely visible even with a flashlight. The script on this postcard is almost completely gone too. The border and lettering were done with a gold tone that has worn off over the years. It reads at the bottom "And at night er'e we go to our slumber so light, we'll watch the moon rise and the stars shinning bright"
Beautiful, peaceful! How many of us take the time to watch the stars in the evening with someone we love? Or even by ourselves? Not me, sadly: I need to change my ways!
