Its an interesting journey to add more items from the same maker, with the same fabrication, spatter colors, and shapes repeated several times in my Ruckl category. You can't understand that having all this glass in hand, would convince any glass collector that it was made by the same glass plant.
The satisfying result is to be able to form a cohesive group and add to it for an even bigger validation. Observing from the sidelines does not give you enough information to decide one way or the other. As I am not trying to create a new Czech glass category, but building on the small number of documents available, it is not imperative for me to name these pieces, rather it is to share what I have collected, made during the interwar, a Czech decorative art glass from a specific kind and maker.
I know this is not what usually happens with a collection, but for me, it is always about the glass first.
Images 2 and 4 new jar, images 1 and 3, groups all orange 3 items, and mix red and orange all jars.
Thank you Ken, I love that shape too.
Thank you for all the loves CW members, grateful for your support.
good work, I try to do the same thing with images but with pictures rather than buying so much stuff.
I find to many potential variations by the picture taker's camera and lighting to rely on the colors especially. Some of my discoveries were accidental, when I had the glass in hand. I just found another one this week, the yellow satin shimmy, but in a glossy finish instead. Will post soon. Thanks Jericho.
