Tumbler modelled as Newcastle Admin Bldg by Leonora Glass (now defunct)

For a very brief period from mid 60's to 1982, Newcastle had its own glassworks which were at that time the only commercial glassworks in Australia. The operation was a popular tourist & school attraction with glassblowing exhibitions given every day.
The Newcastle Admin Block built in the mid 70's is an iconic tower design with the middle floors and top floors wider than the floors below. Its design proved to be very suitable for inclusion within the Newcastle souvenir range produced and sold by Leonora at their Wallsend factory.
