I found this vase (at least I think that's what it is) today. It is rather unusual. It appears to be pressed glass and has four swirly looped handles on each side. The vase weighs over 2kg and stands about 7 inches tall. It has a finish that reminds me a bit of the glass doors around the 1970's or frost on a window on a cold winter's day.
I have no clue what it is and would appreciate any help.
Thanks for looking:)
Many thanks, vetraio50:)
Thanks a lot, Watchsearcher:)
I found this post with a vase with the same finishing. The design, however, is totally different. What do you think?

Thanks so much for loving my funny vase, Newfld:)
I found this one; it could be the inspiration for my vase. I guess I will have to do a bit more research.

It is a much copied design from memory.
Thanks so much for your comment, vetraio50. These vases seem to be rather uncommon here where I live. I have never seen them before. After I figured out what the style was, I found many more online similar to mine, sporting different finishing and colours.
I am not really sure what I got here and I am no expert but I love glass. For that reason, I will put the vase on my Thanksgiving dinner table and I am sure it will make a nice conversation piece:)
Thanks again for your comment, vetraio50.
Happy Thanksgiving (even if it is the wrong season for this holiday in Australia - I never turn down a good reason to celebrate, LOL)
P.S.: Here is one close to my vase:

And here is one like mine:

It is too bad that one cannot always trust what one sees online because sometimes people are wrong. Other times a picture cannot substitute for holding the real thing in ones hand.
I also found this (but to really compare one has to see the vases side by side)
