Yes, that's odd!
I've only stayed at the Yellowstone lodge once for a couple of nights and I don't recall if there was a piano in that massive place. That would be the only connection I can think of; a log-shaped, wool lined box would be more to my thinking!
This is an adorable little piece! It's like a piano from a really posh dolls house!
