This set in large size Hubley 500 series was made in '54-'55 with the '51 Ford cab painted green. However the dump set was offered in '56 with a ivory/red diesel cab and in '57 with cream/red cab. I two toned the Ford cab body like the diesel version, Hubley only painted the Ford cab in one color. I had a '48 GMC cab with the dump trailer when I posted before, this combo was never offered by Hubley. I'll use the GMC cab with a stake side trailer I won on EBay hopefully when it arrives. I got a great Hubley Toy Vehicles 1946-1965 book from which the dates and info came from.
