As radical in their time as the women Anti-War protesters and activists were in the 1960's, I acquired this relic from the Suffragette movement. A little out of time for my collection but the spirit fits. A 1915 "Votes For Women" Suffrage Tin Die Cut Bluebird Sign from Massachusetts. Far from mint, but was the likely the only time I will ever have to add this to my collection. How many still exist? My first instinct was to frame in in this blue frame with a deep yellow mat behind it and I still might, but for now I thought the yard sale find of a tattered - or incomplete American Flag seems to fit and is now on my wall.
And then our problems began ! LOL !
incredible find!
