More Marx Six Inch Cavalry Figures 1964-1970

I believe Marx Toys made 6 poses for each series of the 6 inch figures they made. 6 cowboys, 6 WWII Germans, 6 Cavemen and so on. I am up to five for my cavalry figures so I am doing good especially as these are less common.
Once again these are well made figures although the poses are rather standard. Officer with sword raised urging his men forward and the standing rifleman. The standing rifleman is perhaps the most common toy soldier pose along with perhaps the kneeling rifleman. The uniform and rifle may change but the pose remains the same. Oh and then there is the prone rifleman, which would be the most realistic pose as that is the best way to avoid being shot.
Marx probably did not realize it but cavalry fighting on foot was more realistic than the classic cavalry charge. They rode the horses to the fight, a few held the horses and the rest fought on foot. Plus it horses would be expensive to make in this scale but they did it in an even larger scale around 1967.
Marx started making these in 1964 and sold them until they ran out in the early 1970s. From the look of these they are 1960s issue due to the flat color of the plastic.
