This little guy is 4" square and 2.5" high. This may be the last piece of Fenton Art Glass that I bought new, shortly before they stopped making art glass and started making art glass beads. The little booklet that came with it is titled Fenton Opalescent Glass. I actually forgot that I had this but was rooting around in my china cupboard and found it. It has the Fenton mark on the bottom and the Fenton label on the lid.
What era is this from? Lovely design and color!
Wow this is really beautiful
It was designed and first made in the 1930s. Mine was made in the 1990s. I guess that I forgot when I bought it.
It has a "9" under the Fenton in the logo signifying it was made in the 1990s.
Wow, this is so pretty:)
Thanks for the comments Hunter, Jenni, nutsbotas6 and TassieDevil. It is a nice piece. Can't believe that I forgot about it!

This is a really nice piece, I love the glass surface design. I also just bought a strech velva rose Fenton fan with dolphin handles last week.
Part of my extending my glass collection in new directions. I have the same issue, my piece was first made in 1927, and the at several intervals till 2000 or so. I studied the marks to date mine but I wont know for sure till I get it.
The 9 represents the 1990s, the 8 the 1980s, and the 2 the 2000s. This was to help collectors date their Fenton glass. :-)
@truthordare - Thanks! Can't go wrong with Fenton! I believe that Fenton also started using a "1" during the brief time they were still making art glass after 2010 to signify 2010-2019. I wish I could find more Bohemian glass where I live, but it was apparently not too popular here.
Thanks for loving my Fenton covered box!
