This little pitcher is 3.75" high x 4.5" handle to spout x 3" wide. Something else I found while rooting around in my china cupboard that I didn't remember having. I see this called ruby stain or ruby flash glass. It is not something I know much about and, though I see a lot of it, I am not that attracted to it. That being said, when I saw this piece in my cupboard, I remembered finding it and being charmed by its condition and quality. It screamed "Buy me!" and not wanting to offend, I did. This is my only piece of this type of glass, I think. No idea of who, when or where for this. Maybe some of the EAPG pros can help me?

the process is called ruby stained; the ruby color is painted onto the pressed glass and set by heating. Whereas ruby flash in on blown glass where a thin layer of ruby glass is formed over the clear blown glass.

Your luck is just incredible Kwqd. I was just thinking about opening a "Why Did I Buy That" museum. And just think !! There is no charge for donations unless you need it for tax dodges. (We know how to multiply for tax receipts). And now, the best comes to you !! You can send you donations, FREE OF CHARGE, to me, at my address. (Available on request with disclaimer). Sorry that I hit your poste just as I was hit with a "Flash-Back". LOL !! Safer than driving !

@nutsabotas6 - Thanks! That is a nice compliment!

@blunderbuss2 - Better to be lucky than good, I always say! Sounds like an acid flashback, not ganja!

Thanks for loving my EAPG pitcher!
