My parents have passed and I found this in their things. My mom was Austrian and my father met her during the Korean Ware (War Bride) and I'm so thankful! This medallion is beautiful and I have no clue what it was. There are prongs on both sides. It measures 4 1/8 x 3 1/2 inches. Does anyone know if it was a clothing or hat adornment?

What a lovely image, very romantic
This reminds me a little of something I have. I inherited a demilune marbletop table from my mother (it was her mother's) and it has an art deco metal angel (or cherub) attached to the front/side of the table. It has prongs on the back of it that insert into holes drilled in the table. I love it!
