I have this Copper square box. It is about 1 foot tall and 2.5 feet long. It has an insert with handles. I have no idea what this would have been used for but I have never seen anything like it. I don’t see any markings. If anyone knows about this please help! Thank you.
Looks like a steam box. Maybe for steaming clams etc.
Thank you I would have never thought that it would be used as a clam steamer!
