      S.E European area. Maybe Romania, Bulgaria or maybe even Greece. Not certain though. I thought the outline on the blade might be of a country, but couldn't match it. Lots of borders in that have fluctuated since WWII.

      The handle style - with the split/flared butt - is typically Greek.
