bought a farmhouse built in 1935 and there were all kinds of original fixtures, then there’s this. i know the 3-chain lights were popular around WWII, and this has what appears to be very old wiring & a bakelite socket. however, the frosted glass has me wondering as does the fact that the fixture appears to have been spray painted and antique gold. i’m unable to locate any markings. any help is appreciated.
I think it to be of the period IMHO.
The paint may have been added later though.
