this pair of lamps are hollow and made of bronze. 14lbs and 17.75: tall. the motif is of what seem to be of many different cultures which I thought was originally asian in design.

My first time on this site so I thank you all in advance. I found these lamps in a charity thrift store. I purchased them originally thinking they were asian in origin but upon further examination I noticed quite a unique and original mix of motifs. Can someone please help me identify them. My sincere thanks.

These lamps are designed by James Mont, a furniture designer in the 30's and 40's. He has some rather colorful stories around. Much of his work has an Asian tone as he considered himself Asian. He was born in 1903 in Constantinople.
