This combination salt, pepper and sugar is about 4" high x 3.5" wide. I was assessing the potential to rearrange one of my china cabinets to make a place for a set of Cambridge Glass bowls and found this. Forgot I had this, so it was like finding it all over again. I think it is pretty neat! No idea of the maker or date, so calling it a mystery.

What a conversation piece! So cool!
My Granny used a wringer washer and she let my sister and me feed the wet clothes into the wringer. My sister got her hand in the wringer once; there was no automatic shut-off so once your fingertips were caught, it just kept pulling the extremity further in (and causing much pain and screaming from my sister and hurrying to shut it off by Granny).
Today's generation would have a difficult time figuring out the purpose and how to operate a real wringer machine.
Your salt/pepper/sugar is so realistic, it could trigger some discussion with young people!

@Caperkid - Thanks! I was really intrigued when I first saw it.

@Watchserver - I think this one might actually represent a non-electric machine! I think that the red thing on the roller housing is supposed to be a handle for runting the rollers. I've actually never seen one in operation. Thanks for sharing!

Mom had a similar electric wringer washer in my younger years.

It seems that even finding in original box, the maker of the "Li'l Washer" 'salt and pepper set with sugar bowl' remains unknown. There are several old WP listing and some current in original box:
