Here is a grouping on mottled confetti vases. These are of special interest because I can't place the maker or even the technique. All the vases have a thick white base color with many layers of translucent confetti and powders. any Ideas?

This is not going to help, but I recently saw a big, shallow bowl in an antique shop in my new hometown that has the same deep blue, green, & purple spatter as the vase in the first photo. I'd never seen that spatter before, very unusual. If it had been a vase I would have bought it, but no space for a great big bowl!

Just poking around, the pontiled one hints at bohemian because if it was German or Belgium - no pontil...

Hi Jericho, Great post! It's interesting to see all of these together. They have quite a distinctive look, both in their spatter and shapes.
I notice you use the word 'confetti' not spatter. May I ask if there's a difference?
Also, are they heavy for their size and do any have polished pontils?
Mine, in the second picture, bottom left, is Extremely heavy (due to all of its layers no doubt) and has a deep ground smooth pontil.

Vintage, I love that little purple one- that metal work made me think they were from the 20-30's. As far as spatter versus confetti, I would say.... Clichy in france, Spatter in the UK, end-of-day in the USA and Confetti in Jerichostan: )

although I actually think these are larger globs of color (marbles) I call them pebbles
