Old? Timex is turning into a head scratcher. Please help me identify it before I go mad.

Old (or maybe a fake) Timex, no model/year number only Made In USA with red 5-second markers. It is similar to a pocket watch style or something a woman would wear on a necklace. My boyfriend just found this in the lining of his backpack, and we have absolutely no idea where it could've come from. If we knew how old it was, or if it is a fake vintage/new model, we'd have some idea where and who it might've come from. It works great! Old-school, you wind it and it ticks away....I've looked at about a billion Timex photos and sites tonight. I'm starting to feel a little like Captain Hook. Please any info would be appreciated!

Finally I figured out what the watch was.... (after days of research) I found a website that had the same exact watch - it is a 1944 Nurse's Watch. Very few were made because even though WWII was ending consumables and luxury items weren't being produced in large numbers yet. This watch was the very first US timepiece to have the name "Timex." The fact it was a "nurses's" watch allowed Timex to make and sell these watches in a very limited quantity. (Nurses were much needed after the war.)
