Nodder for Washington Senators player in uniform of Griffith Senators who played
through the 1960 season in the American League. This one is marked "Japan 1962"
on the bottom, and that was the year after the the Second Washington Senators had arrived. In Japan they made this one
in 1962, but it has the uniform of the older version Senators.
It is good that it has the green bottom to the figurine, because these are hard to find
and worth some money, I am told.
This is the only one like this I ever saw for sale in the DC area. This was in a local estate sale auction,
and I thought I had better bid fairly high for it because it was probably the only like it I would ever see.
It was too.
