This is a paper weight with the first chips imbedded in acrylic, from the first part machined to make the YF-16. The YF-16 went on to beat the YF-17 in the competition for the contract of the century. For the next 30 years, with continuous production and advancements, the F-16 has been flown by 25 different countries. A record that will be hard to beat in the up coming years.
