Here & There: Three crystalline vases, left to right:
Claes Thell vase (1982) from his Höganäs, Sweden studio (carbon crystalline/iron oxide glaze and applied relief decoration to exterior) - 6” tall
Kjell Bolinder vase (1995) his Höganäs, Sweden studio (unique dense blue crystalline) - 3.5” tall
ORIGINALLY POSTED AS: "Zanesville Stoneware Co, 'Brown and Tan Overflow' #940 Art Pottery Vase, circa 1920’s – 6.75” tall" NOW BELIEVED TO BE: 20s German, possibly Carl Schack.
Nice! First Hoganas vase is exceptional!
Can you post a pic of the ZSC vase base? Never seen an example or heard of them producing any crystalline glazes. Glaze looks like Carl Schack.

Thanks for the input. Here is a link to a photo of the base. Would like your opinion after seeing it. I have the ZSC book and don't see any glazes like it either - closest being a pic or two of Neptune glavze pieces,

Don’t think it’s ZSC. I think teens-20s German, Carl Gebauer or Carl Schack.
