Somebody went nuts with metallic paints. It's a large and heavy plaster bust of a woman. She looks familiar - i think that there is a well known print of her out there...

Perfect example of what happens when you stick your nose in where it doesn't belong.
To stick to the Sphinx, I find her looking a little like a cross between Ramses 2's mummy and Pharaoh Akhenaton ;-D
The Sphinx might have had a twin sister also. It's a shame he didn't write a biography and leave us in the dark
