I picked-up another Tripod-legged Czech vase on the weekend. I almost didn't buy it since I thought I had the same one at home. I was quite pleased when I got home and saw that the spatter on this one was completely different from the multi-coloured spatter one. This one has white, blue and yellow spatter only but is almost identical in size and shape as the other. I have seen this combination of spatter on Welz vases but I leave the proper classification to others. Two of the vases in this photo have flatter feet that are impressed with CZECHO SLOVAKIA but my new vase/bowl and it's sister are unmarked and are on their tiptoes. Any comments appreciated

In my experience they are quite common in the UK. I think they survive because they have no practical use and so tend to sit on shelves or in cabinets. My favourites are the ones that have several layers of glass.

Nice set, I’m easier on fractures on these pieces as they don’t detract and they are common. That said congratz you have perfect ones
