    This was given to my grandfather in Lowell, Massachusetts, along with several other items, by his employer, a well-to-do woman who often gifted him with lavish, if outdated, objects. ANY legitimate information would be greatly appreciated!!

      It looks to be from the 1920s art deco period and probably made in Italy

      Some damage I see to shade. These were made in the early 1920's and probably in Italy where this type of alabaster was being heavily used at the time.

      Thanks for the info, y'all! I had narrowed it down to '20s Italy, but I'm no expert. I appreciate you corroborating that information. :)
