This is a bulb and base from Vicks Vapo-Rub. It's really a vaporizer. There is a small cup at the top of the bulb to put the Vicks in, and the heat of the bulb would vaporize the paste. I've never seen one before. By the looks of the cord it's from the 20s or 30s. The filament looks good, but the cord's cloth wrap is damaged in a couple of places. I just thought it was neat!

That's too cool !!! I bought the one in TallCakes link ! I got it dirt cheap,I was the only bidder.Unfortunately about a year later I was short on cash and sold it on Ebay.I thought I would do well with it considering how rare it seems to be.But there was only one bidder.I was very disappointed because I thought it was so cool especially with the box but I only got about 20$ for it.I will find pics and post it.
