A small,7 cm tall, rose bowl vase. The first I own.It was very difficult to take photos, because the outer layer of clear glass is thick what can be seen in the place of dimple. The body is made of milk glass and the inner layer is orange and yellow spatter.
I can't decide how old is the vase.If you have any ideas, please comment.

I bought a couple of very similar vases around the turn of the century (2000). I think they were fairly new then. Probably Italian.

Thank you, artfoot for your input.I'm also prone to think it's contemporary.

I actually think this could be earlier...I used to own one similar, purchased at a flea market in 1995...it had wear on the base consistent with some age - my thoughts at the time was that it was 1960s - 1970s...

Those glass decorative pieces, with the completely flat, polished bases, remind me of my huge Chinese vase, which has a similar fabrication too, heavy milk glass interior, with cobalt blue and orange layers on top.

I remember posting it here 4 years ago, and nobody said a word.....found out that probably meant Chinese, I thought it was Italian. Yours is very nice. Lisa

I agree that Chinese is also a strong possibility for these little bowls. Rather than vases, I've always envisioned them as ashtrays, for what that may be worth.
