I saw this lovely glass animal today and had to have it, it feels lovely and I thought it was an Otter, but it turns out it is a Stoat! It is made by Wedgwood glass. I believe The Wedgwood Group took over Kings Lynn Glass (started in 1967) in 1969, and renamed it Wedgwood Glass. There seems to have been various mergers with other glass works, and it was sold to Caithness glass in 1988. The factory closed in 1992. ( This is info I got from 20th century glass website.

Beautiful glass stoat Adele, and lovely cranberry swirl color. Unusual animal in glass, are they not in the ferret or weasel animal type, this is the first stoat I have seen & a real beauty by Wedgwood

Yes a stoat is very like a weasel, just smaller!

That captures the look of the animal very well. Can you use the fur drom them to make a Stoat Coat?

Nauga's are easier to raise & always a demand for their hydes. Virgin wool comes from really ugly sheep.
