Hello. As I find myself looking to part with some things..the drawer full of marbles can no longer escape. The problem is, yes I know how to look for a Pontil. I know there are hand made marbles vs. machine made marbles. In researching I had no idea that West Virginia was considered the marble state back in its day..(very interesting). As to indentify and go through them all..seems like one could spend years. Does anyone know or have suggestions as to a marble expert or someone I can trust vs just rolling with it? Thank you.

I am at the same crossroads on losing a collection as my health deteriorates and that is when you realize its all over. Hope you learn as you try to downsize. My collection is massive and I realize that when I am in my large spare room.
