The decanter is marked "Holland" and has one other hallmark, most likely for low-grade silver, but it is too hard for me to identify it. I am sure that the decanter has some age. My guess is that it dates to around the second half of the 1800's, up to the early 1900's. The decanter is embellished with a decoration around the bottom part that almost tells a story. On the top of the stopper there are some word fragments but I cannot make out what they say.
