I like coke products, but never really got into buying old coke signs, coke stuff, etc. I found this a week ago, done some searching but have only found two others on the internet, either for sale or being shown off. I was surprised all the parts are with it. The tray, the rubber seal looks great. maybe 1% shown rust in one spot. The chrome looks good. The bottom, as you can see look great. The inside looks a lot better than ones I or my family have seen. The drain plug still has the rubber seal inside the cap.
This cooler reminds me of something my Grandpa would own. Would be used regulary and would be clean and dryed after each use and stored in a safe place.
Does anyone have an idea what time frame, era it is from? Any insite would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Ray. Any idea if this cooler is common? Like I said before, I have only found two others searching on the internet. I still think this cooler is cool.
I have a cooler like that I am restoring it. Do you know where I can buy a seal.
When I first read your post I did not, reading a different post point this site out.

I looked it over. It should help you out. I am still trying to find the model number on this cooler.
I hope this info helps.
After I read some other posts, at least this cooler has not been restored. I noticed that is a "interesting" subject.
One of the things I am curious about this model cooler, was there many produced? I have only found thee others from doing some searches on the internet.
I would like to know what I have since friends and neighbors have asked questions and I am limited on answers.
I figured it out, Progress Refrigerator, model A55, made in 1955. I found an advertisment for sale which clarified it.
