Butterfly Wing Plate

I am unsure of the age of this plate. Mu family find it to be a bit morbid. I have found several online that claim to be Art Deco from the 20s-30s. However, most of them have the Blue Morpho butterfly. I am not sure of the species of butterflies that were used to make this plate with the exception of the Monarchs.

I find it oddly beautiful and kind of sad at the same time.

*Edit... The more I search, the more I think this was probably made close to the late 60s early 70s. I am finding more plates in that time frame. Not certain, but this seems more probable.
