This lamp has been in the family for generations, since great grandmother bought it originally! It is so beautiful and in perfect condition, nothing has been done to it and nothing has been changed on it. Legend has it the shade is called "riverscene" but I can't find it anywhere, the birds flying and the base kind of has an Asian feel to it. We really have been wondering, what is it worth? The felt base on the bottom says HANDEL, and the lamp has Handle 6868 painted into it and the top says Handel Lamps and Pat. No. but you can't read the number.
Search and save the search on ebay for Handel painted lamps to find current value. my best guess would be 2 thousand +
