I have a similar design with the five monks appreciating the garden on several very different pieces. I forget what they are called. It's a nice Kutani bowl - signed. thanks for looking!

it is tecnical discussion does the combined characteristics Akae ( red color) + kinrade ( gold color application ) + GENERIC !!! -kutani MARKING mandatory leads to meijji period or could it be Taisho , IMO it is almost always MEijji and at least not a LATE Taisho !! combination , for a japanese piece not boring nothing wrong with it
