Here's the chair I've got paired with the orange vinyl footstool shown recently. Currently in the living room, I think the two look kinda good together...? ;-) :-)

As far as I know it was first commercial/office furniture probably in the 1970's-80's -- I got it roughly 30yrs ago (along with a matching 4-wheeled swivel version, and other stuff) from the basement of an office building I was being paid to help clean out, saving it all from the dumpster because it was free. (and at the time I needed more furniture, now maybe not so much...? <giggle>) It's been hanging around my house somewhere ever since -- I guess I must have grown to 'like it' in the meantime?! <lol>
Its tubular chrome frame has solid black plastic arms and holds a rather thinly (now a little moreso than originally I suppose) padded curved 'sling style' (?) seat, covered in a vibrant orange coarse-weave fabric which remains in excellent original condition. There are no labels or tags on it (if there ever were?) but "4589" is handwritten at one corner on its underside.
[EDIT -- I just swapped one of my 1st pics out with a new one, once I realized when writing the description that I *hadn't* actually managed to get a pic with the chair and the footstool together...? <groan> ]

Woda kitty (the house beast, supreme ruler of my home, yada yada) appreciates your kind comments Newfld and iggy!! Gotta admit, though it isn't at all unusual to find him curled up in that chair, I was kinda surprised when he just stayed there while I took those pics -- looking at the camera, even??! <lol>

The cat is as sleek and shiny as the black plastic arm of the chair! Nice....both cat and chair!
