Need Help Identifying this Huge Flower Vase

Went to an indoor Flea Market today and found this old flower vase that had been painted gold a long time ago. The glaze was showing through the gold in a few places and it looked like it was glass under the gold. There were no incised markings underneath but the raised flowers under the gold hinted to it being a very special vase. When I got home, I removed the gold and once I got to the flowers, I was amazed to see the green foliage slowly appearing. It is redware, quite big at 16 5/8" tall by 10" at the widest and has signs inside that it was wheel turned. There are no marking underneath and only a central spot that expands to the outer edge of the flat under-rim which also indicates a hand turned recessed base. The color of the glaze is a brown-olive and the green raised slip flowers are also on the back of the vase; a smaller bough. It is such a well made item that it must have been made by a renowned pottery firm.....anybody recognize the maker?
