Do you think church rummage sales are a thing of the past? I was beginning to think so. Not many in my area. However a church near me had one recently and at it I found this Miriam Haskell set. I was amazed at the condition as often when I find Miriam Haskell (which hardly ever happens) there is damage, corrosion or missing elements. Every time I do happen to see it I think of the appraisal on Antiques Roadshow years ago for that huge collection of Miriam Haskell. Wasn't that an amazing collection? It looked like she 'cornered the market'. :)
Hi MsCrystalship, I tried to clean off the verdigris and uploaded another photo. How do you recomend I remove it? For me this is a find of a year. In the past, I have never found something like this at a rummage sale. Thanks so much for your comment and advice.
Lovely Haskell set, nice find
Eileen, Thanks for the tip on how to clean it. Your Schreiner is really beautiful! Maureen
find of the year :D
Eileen, Thanks again! I redid the photos. I think these are better. I hope you can see more of the detail. I do love this set and love Haskell. Looking forward to wearing it next year.
Eileen, it is a little embarrassing how you keep popping up my old posts, especially when I've been remiss in thanking the collectors who gave it a love quite awhile ago. So for those collectors who came by and loved it the first time, thank you!

Hi Phoebe 1980 Many thanks for all the love for my posts. I see you loved many today and pushed them up to the top. Thanks for loving what I love, too. Do you collect jewelry? Hope you'll post!
Wow, this is so lovely!
Rhineisfine Thank for the love and admiration for my Haskell set. Good luck with your collecting!
