I found this Kali statue at Urban Ore in Berkeley the other day. I haven't found another similar one online. I think it's from Nepal. Interesting how it comes off the base. Kali is standing on two Shivas in this complex statue. any info appreciated.
Bronze.
i haven't found another detachable bronze like this one. any info appreciated.
i think this might be pretty old!
Crude casting, probably 19th century. But still a lucky find.
thanks Golgatha! i agree.
Not Kali - and not Hindu, either!
I think this is supposed to be the Tibetan Buddhist meditational deity Chakrasamvara, although the detailing is rather crudely rendered so it's hard to be 100% sure.
